Our Fourth Anniversary

May 9, 2015 – The absolute best day of my life! The day I finally gained my better half and the day I fell even more in love with Dylan Vires! I told him I really wanted to write him a letter for our anniversary, but we have been busier than ever lately so I totally put it on the back burner and I am using our blog as my chance to surprise him with one! Since the day we got married, Dylan has changed my life so much and most definitely for the better! He annoys the mess out of me sometimes, but my favorite part of the day is always when I get to lay my head on his chest and watch The Office or Impractical Jokers and laugh until we are tired enough to go to sleep. Four years, four nephews, two dogs and the best life I could ever imagine. When we met, we were  still little babies (20 & 21) and we instantly fell in love. After just three months of dating we were both talking about getting married – WHATTTT?! Neither of us thought we would even be thinking about getting married until we were at least 26 or 27 and we were both very shocked, but so in love! Since our first date, we have been inseparable. Seriously I don’t think we’ve been apart for longer than a week or so since November of 2012. Everything Dylan did – I did and everything I did – he did. Dylan has always been my biggest cheerleader and he was the even the one to buy me my first camera (A&D Bride’s you can thank him) and neither of us knew that God would lead us to where we are today. We have our own business working together doing photography and videography! Sometimes I have to pinch myself to see if this life with him is real, but it really is! 🙂 With that said, life is hard and everyone goes through struggles! When my Dad passed away, we were both in complete and utter shock. Not only was my Dad my everything, he had become one of Dylan’s best friends and we were so young and scared when we lost him. Dylan literally kept me sane. He held me when I was sad, always let me cry on his shoulder (still does haha) and made me laugh when there were no more tears to cry. God knew what he was doing when he sent me Dylan and I know our life is far from over and the struggles will still come, but as long as were together I think I will make it! Here’s to (if we’re lucky) 100 more years together, DCV. I love you and happy anniversary, baby!
